Took the opportunity of being out in public with a lot of people partaking in green beverages, to chat with a few about Steemit. These nice ladies seemed rather interested (both visited Reddit regularly) and even let me snap a photo with them. Super nice people. We had a lot of fun talking.
Normally I am not that outgoing, but 1 of 2 of these green drinks usually helps with that.
The first establishment we visited also had a 2 man bagpipe band. They marched around the bar a few times playing Irish jigs, very cool!
I planned to take a few more photos, but as the night went on it got more and more crowded, and although I talked with more people about Steemit and Steem, did not get a chance to take a good photo with them. Most of the bars we were in were packed.
Getting out in public to talk about Steemit is always on my mind. I want this to succeed and believe it will be great for people everywhere if it is able to be adopted by the masses. It won't be an easy task, but if everyone on Steemit got a couple people to join up a week, we would get there eventually.
