He just posted in a famous whatsapp group, steemIbadan to be precise, that he would reward anyone that can pronounce his name correctly and before i knew it voice notes started following each other as entries, i was even busy when i saw it and i didn't take it serious, i thought it was a joke, i just formed a tush voice and pronounced the name to the best of my knowledge.
Behold, we had 25 entries and 19 people were evicted from the mispronunciation of the first syllable of the name, remaining only 6 of us, later 4 more persons were evicted based on the pronunciation of the last syllable, then we were left with my entry an one other lady, the delibration on the winner took our 4 judges more time than the whole time of the competition self and lol i was announced as the winner!!!
I was very happy that midnight and i was jubilating even as i was yet to claim my reward as at then, i got the SBD in my wallet and one of the judges also gave me 0.100 which i appreciated.
This is the first contest/competition i will win on steemit since i joined and i do not take it for granted.
