On Saturday being the 10th of March, 2018 I attended a meetup organized by 
Hive account@steem9ja in the university of port harcourt, if I must say it was a nice one. I went as an official of steemit_extention and the offline minnow school.
The meetup was all about teaching minnows how the system works and registering new members.
ABOUT THE MEETUP
The turn up was encouraging, 
Hive account@bhoa did a great job.
We were approximately 30 in numbers and we really had a nice time educating ourselves.
Hive account@francistagbo gave a brief lecture about steemit,
Hive account@bait002 encouraged all of us, towards the following end;
• Be a value adder
• Think beyond yourself.
• Look for something that’s not on steemit yet and put it there.
• Be passionate about what you do, and that’s how you get past the discouragement at the beginning.
• See steemit as a means to get your voice heard before you consider it a means of making huge profit.
• encouraged that to expect that people are watching them from the very beginning.
And 
Hive account@raymondbruce my humble self talked about my struggles on steemit, my fears and my driving force, I also through more light on the steemit_extention initiative.
After all said and done myself Hive account@raymondbruce, Hive account@bhoa, Hive account@bait002 and Hive account@francistagbo contributed SBD for the question and answer segment.
And Hive account@bait002 organized an offline open mic, it was so heavenly and we gave SBD to participants.
After the MEETUP the team of the offline minnow school took a picture with the organizer of the MEETUP Hive account@bhoa.
