PLAN OVERVIEW
The time has come for #Steemit-Accra to start working more cohesively as a team. Cooperation and collaboration is the only way we as individuals can truly make a difference in our lives and the lives of other Ghanaians. This post will outline some of the plans that and
have been discussing for implementation within our growing community. I hope you all take a look at this and send me your ideas so we can begin moving forward with uplifting the Accra Steemit community.
OBJECTIVE
The main functions of Steemit are Community building and income creation. As a group focused on sharing the glory of Steemit with others we should organize ourselves in a way that our efforts put out maximum benefits for the community and creators. This can be done through several proven methods as well as some novel ones that will be proposed within this post. It is our responsibility to make the bet of this platform and ensure that others can grow alongside us if they wish.
SUMMARY OF PLANS
CHOOSE A BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MODERATORS FOR OUR TEAM
This is mandatory because we will need structure and the ability to enforce the rules of the group. It will also help ensure efficient management of the groups logistical functions (page management, chatrooms, #Accra moderation bots etc). We will discuss how the leadership is chosen when a group of us have met and considered the candidates and other circumstances.
CREATE AN ACCRA STEEMIT ACCOUNT AND HASHTAG
By creating a Steemit account dedicated to curating QUALITY content from members of the team Accra. We will be able to help create a basic income for our community members and help motivate them to keep on posting. It will also give us a place to put content that is focused on Team Accra and created by various members. This is also the most direct path to having an African Witness Node.
This will be powered up by Team Accra members Delegations to upvote the community. has opted to delegate $500 to start.

HOLD MONTLY STEEMIT MEETINGS
Team Accra should endeavor to hold monthly meeting where we discuss issues related to our groups growth as well as come together to share new developments. These meeting could also be used to build membership as well as sustain current members with giveaways competitions and other opportunities to network and earn with their peers.
START A STEEMIT HUB IN ACCRA
In the next few months will be renting space for a future HUB. This hub will be a space for creation and learning. Members of team Accra will be able to come there and enjoy numerous amenities and opportunities Monday-Saturday.

Computers available (with photoshop and other adobe apps)
Classes for creation and increasing income.
Buy and Sell Steem for cash or mobile money.
Café (various refreshments & entertainment).
Meeting space for the team and other creators in Accra.
MESSAGE SUMMARY
This post is a preliminary tactical assessment of what we need to begin doing as a team to take Team Accra to the next level and go beyond just posting about giving things to the people. With this we can truly begin to ensure the people we bring into the world of Steemit can look forward to earning without having to deal with the frustration that hinders many minnows as they start out on their Steemit journeys.

BUDGET
Starting this requires us to put forward whatever funds we can to ensure a strong voting presence. Board members must delegate at least 11 SBD to Team Accra page and must send 5 SBD to power up (ensures we as leaders are truly invested in this project.) We need to raise at-least $3k to power up.
20% of team Accra rewards will be divided between the directors
10% of the rewards will go to powering back up
10% will be split between donors/delegators
60% of rewards will be paid to posters and content creators who post on Team Accra Blog ( must delegate back 10% for one week)
