The London Cryptocurrency Show
As we prepare to showcase #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain at The London Cryptocurrency Show, I thought I would share with you a number of questions that I am still be faced with regarding #Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies.
As well as promoting #Steemit and #Steem at the show, we will also be talking to investors, both experienced and new to the market looking to invest in The Cryptocurrency Market.
I have no doubts therefore that we will be asked many questions regarding both #Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies in general.
Championing the adoption of #Blockchain Technology
Over the last 4+ years I have been championing the adoption of #Blockchain Technology to many, if not all industries, and I am really looking forward to talking to as many people in London on the day.
The London Cryptocurrency Show is expected to attract over 2,000 visitors and personally I think that this number may well turn out to be light.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see many more come through the door on the day.
This is the first event that the organisers and owners of The London Investor Show has put a show like this on and it has been an absolute pleasure working with them to help promote and support the event.
Many questions regarding #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies
I have no doubts at all that on the day we will be asked many, many, many questions regarding #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies and in the meantime I thought I would share with you just a handful of questions, that even after 4 years, I am still being asked.
Let's not forget, most people still have absolutely no idea
Some of the questions that I am still being asked may appear totally obvious to most reading this Blog, but let's not forget, most people still have absolutely no idea what #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies are.
Only yesterday I was talking to a very good friend about The London Cryptocurrency Show and invited them to come down for the day to help them hopefully understand the market a little more.
I was stunned when they told me that they had been told that the whole Cryptocurrency Market was a scam, because they had read a news article in their Social Media feed..!!
No matter how much I tried to explain to them the importance of #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency was going to be in the future, they were not for budging.
An education for us all
One of the things I am really looking forward to at The London Cryptocurrency Show is to appreciate just how many people we talk to understand the simple basics of #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency and how many are still sceptical about the whole thing.
It will be the proportion of scepticism and perception of The Market that will be a valuable asset to take away with us from the day.
I am keeping an open mind, but I would not be at all surprised if people are still struggling to understand even the basics of #Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies.
