I spent the day with
So, the two of us, along with and
took flight (technically, drive) for bluer pastures! We made the hour long trip thru some fun offroad excitement, and finally arrived at Hume Lake in the Sequoia National Park.
Hume sits at 5200ft (1590 ft) elevation, surrounded by peaks (not Peakd) of Granite, and upthrust rock. We made the 2.5 Mile (4km) trek around the lake, stopping at Ten Mile Creek Bridge, at some marshes, and rocky outcropping.
We stopped at the General Store, at the Coffee Shack, and sat and enjoyed a snack while at the lakeside. Then, after enough goofing off, it was back, thru King's Canyon, and General's Highway, to work on the Platform Project.
