This morning's walk with
Our reason for heading to Woodlake, was to head to the County Offices, to gather some paperwork for the Project. We needed some official paperwork and gathered the forms.
As you can see, some of the amazing flowers on the public side, were roses in dozens of colors.
In addition to roses, there were dozens of other species of flowers. We saw sections of the garden tended by the local high school, and some sections tended by the University of California.
Thru the fences, of the private side, we could see fruits including Limes, Lemons, Oranges, Grapefruit, what looked like a few varieties of grapes, some blueberries, and possibly more!
There were tomato, herbs, lavandar, sunflower in at least three varieties, possibly a cherry tree (it was shrouded to keep the birds away) and dozens more species of flowers we had no idea of type.
Along with the Gardens, we walked part of Woodlake Lake, and saw a few types of finches, two types of swallows, some Grebes, A few Snowy Egrets, a few Great Egrets, and an American Bittern.
All in all, a good mix of some fun, photography, and some business, too! the project moves forward. There are no days off on that.
