I saw a post by here about his new tool that can compare authors on hive, who took this idea from a brand new tool created by
and you can see the most recent version here and I immediately thought to implement something I have been working on (a tool for Instagram) also for hive!
Let me tell you what I mean.
From ancient years, there is a (highly unethical in my opinion) method that many internet users have been using. They mass-follow accounts (I have seen it happening a lot in web2 accounts like Instagram or X) and then when they are followed back, they simply unfollow them.
Why they do it? Because most probably the unfollowed accounts will never check who does not follow back so their account will look cool having more followers than following.
There used to be applications in the past that would check the unfollowers on Instagram, but at some point using them almost got me banned. So, I thought of creating my own app about it.
Still working on it, but for Instagram you can use this link
Today I thought to try it out with Hive.
How to find your hive unfollowers
This website runs locally in your computer. After putting your username, (I chose dark mode) you click on check and then you see a summary, and under it a list of profiles that do not follow you back and right under that, a list of profiles that follow you but you do not follow back.
Disclaimer: I used ChatGPT for refinement and code checking

Attention: If you plan to use the Instagram tool, do not unfollow everyone at the same time, because you will break the Instagram limits. I have been unfollowing approximately 20 users per 1-2 hours, 4-5 times a day.
I have created a list of tools here: @katerinaramm/list-of-hive-tools-share-yours-in-the-comments-35r and as I understand I will be creating an update soon, so let any additional tools you know (or may need) here below!
Thank you and I hope that this will be useful for you!
Ideas and feedback is always welcome!!
