Yeah, no doubt. I think it was that recently did an analysis of my voting. All my voting on this account is manual. You're looking at hours of manually reading, voting, and monitoring daily. In his analysis, I voted almost 800 times during the period of his analysis, downvoted about 34, and unvoted once.
, correct me if I'm wrong, also cannot get to every article on the multiple platforms where he curates. It's just not possible man. Now, a lot more people are starting to tag me on their posts. I'll tell you right now that doesn't help get my curation. I can't change how I curate right now because it is the best way I know to check for quality and fraud.
I don't know, but I DO know what I have done that IS working for me.
I started voting for posts that enlightened me in the stem community. My career is stem based and will remain so until my retirement. It was an easy area I found I could participate comfortably. I wrote to the authors on questions I had or complimented them on the content they created. I went outside my comfort zone into other areas on Hive and did the same thing.
I think what that did was to get people to remember me. It was fun. I started loving the engagement. I have more followers now and I receive better curation. If I continue at this pace, eventually I will make something tangible from this endeavor. Other than just creating more content more frequently, I feel like this is the only path forward for me.
