Simpsons predicts the future?

Simpsons is a cartoon that most of us have watched and actually love to watch. There are scenes in which things appear that no one could believe would happen that in reality.

Or does the Simpsons release the episodes after things happen? Can we really trust our mind? Does our mind create false memory to affirm facts that never existed?

I have my doubt about that... sometimes I think scenes only happen after things happen, or am I totally wrong?
