Cryptopia Hack

I read a good post by Hive account@heiditravels recently (21 days ago) in which she detailed the breakin to the centralized exchange Cryptopia. The hackers have stolen 16 million $ USD worth of Ethereum.

The crazy part is the hackers are still stealing peoples coins as some miners deposit their Ethereum in their Cryptopia accounts automatically.

If you didn’t understand the importance of Proof of Keys before I am hoping you got the point now. Unless you own your private keys and have your coins in an offline wallet, your coins are not safe.
