A little over two weeks ago I announced Hive account@poshbot, a convenience tool to notify users when someone tweets about their post and help save time for users who want to engage in #posh (Proof of Sharing). You can read more in the introduction post if you don't know how it works.

What sets Hive account@poshbot apart is there is no need to use hash tags on Twitter, Hive account@poshbot is smart enough to find Hive content across multiple front ends and notify the author.

Introducing OpenHive Chat support

Hive account@gtg contacted me and asked if I could add support for OpenHive chat, and I am proud to say it is live and running as we speak. Just check out the #posh channel.

How is Hive account@poshbot doing?

Hive account@poshbot picks up around 4,500 messages a week. In the first two weeks it has discovered over 9,700 tweets and alerted Hive content creators. I am absolutely blown away by these numbers. More importantly, many of these tweets are not the original authors sharing their own work but other users sharing their work. This was the most important thing to me when creating Hive account@poshbot.
