I would agree in a perfect world, however waiting for the better markets over the past six years and consistently weighing sentiment and price against making a proposal is precisely how we are now in a place where I must think about what the trajectory of the next few years of work looks like, and what the right approach to that is alongside the rest of the population of Hive. Do I go even harder all in and attempt to pull together an even greater amount of needed work in an to help fill our comm and gtm gaps since its really hard and time-consuming work to do, difficult to define and track beforehand, and no one else wants to take it on? or should I do what most can and look outside the ecosystem for other opportunities and hope that the good times roll around again to make it 'worth' putting in effort here?
I know how I feel about it personally, and that's that to turn it around, people have to show up. But I certainly don't blame the average end user here for walking away and looking for richer opportunity ecosystems. I'll keep doing my best to maintain personal resources that would balance with this ask to let me ramp it up and complete another few years of work, but I'll ultimately have to make a similar decision myself after a long time of putting resources in addition to and above money into the ecosystem on behalf of everyone.
