HEY! So before we address anything you wrote about me I think there is something that need to be pointed out:
Stop apologizing for entering conversations you were expressly invited to. Content creators are just as necessary to Hive's circle of life as anyone else. When I started, that's all I ever intended to do. I wanted to stay anonymous and tell stories that made people feel something, and then got drawn into feeling some kind of way about the tech itself... and now here we are. Creators and consumers are the people this tech is built for, and whether you feel this way just because you're unsure of yourself, or someone has worked to convince you... cut it out. Comparing yourself to a cockroach is absurd, so don't! And if the meaning of that is more indicative that you are fearful to speak up in a contentious discussion lest we big ol' chickens peck you to death, I'm incredibly sorry for the behaviour of those in our ecosystem to make you feel that way. It shouldn't be like that, but everyone has differing ideas of what this system is for and how to work within it. I get to use my stake however I want, and I'll upvote your comment as I see fit, lol.
Ok. So, coming back to the comment— it sounds like you think that because the price is low, I want to just bow out and work less. That's not the intent of the ask, so perhaps it's not just tone deaf, but poorly worded. Most people, for many years, have asked me to make many proposals. They've asked me to do more marketing, or to find ways to convince everyone here to approve funds for paying exchanges, or a number of different types of things. I've spent all my personal funds, and worked for as absolutely long as I can without any pay, and gave up on storytelling as a creator for just earning rewards for my stories alongside you because of a lack of time for it, so it's not a threat or a promise to just... give up... if some funds aren't magically granted. The response would have been the same if I said, "okay, I'll keep going but only if you pay me going forward" because the fear around the markets and the future of alt crypto is terrifying, but that would be a lot more manipulative on my part, I feel. At the end of the day, I'll just have to tailor what I do day to day to the resources I have, and the proposal is an open feedback mechanism on whether the populace wants me to allocate more, or if they're not interested at this point. But working out ways to do more g2m or comms work on top of the biz dev stuff is part of working to find solutions, even if it's not agreed upon by such a diverse group on execution.
