Okay, this looks like a proposal for a gift in recognition of services.

I'm not wild about it being presented as back pay, that doesn't seem helpful, and isn't a principle I can agree with. If you undertake work knowingly as a volunteer, you're gifting your time and that is that.

The gift stands if HIVE stakeholders support it.

But this is not a viable proposition for the future. If there continues to be work to be done that needs to be costed and a proposal put forward to sustain it.
