Is Protein Shake Compulsory?
Protein is very useful for increasing muscle growth but it is not necessary that we derive protein from supplements. We can get enough protein from chicken, eggs, shrimps, and red meat.
Protein Shakes are no magical supplements. They do not guarantee you muscle growth if your overall diet is protein deficient.
If you have enough protein in your diet and you have extra protein supplements preferably shakes. This does not guarantee you more muscle growth as your body cannot absorb that much of protein.
The bioavailability which is the absorbance rate of protein is the highest for hydrolyzed whey then isolate whey then concentrate whey and then other foods which are why we use protein supplements post workout for faster absorption.
