Hello there am here again for my entry for the sankofa creative competition
Ilé ọba tójó ẹwà ló bùsi
(The king’s palace that got burnt added beauty to it)
This is another interesting Yoruba proverb. This proverb tries to tell not to dismay when tragedy strikes.
Generally when something bad or not so good happens to most of us we tend to be down we lose hope and really to look at the good side of things. We never think or try get something good out of every situation.
Every cloud has a silver lining
Yes they do no matter what situation you find yourself always try to look at the positives because it's really not the fall that matters but how you rise from it.
So remember always Ilé ọba tójó ẹwà ló bùsi There is good in every situation you find yourself in life try and look for the positives.
And like i said in my last post :
We shouldn't forget our heritage as Africans. Our culture is our pride"
