I'm a militant free-marketeer and I believe that everyone should base their ideas based on self-interest and self-interest alone. The idea is that we ought to do things for the benefit of others, or to even attempt to revolve or do things that would "enhance other people's experiences" is an insanity in my opinion, because it's impossible to know what's good or bad for others, especially when their desires are self-conflicting. the only person we can base an absolute morality for is our own self. The only person we can be in complete touch with is not someone else, it is us. so, in essence, I think the entire idea of attempting to even rationalize that someone else holds the same importance as we (or, in this case, I) do, is an insanity that i believe religion and failures that have worn the robes of guruism have enforced for far too long.
