Usually when you just start an action, most likely you are less likely to stop. If you do feel like stopping thats alright, just making sure you at least touch on it, for you thats paralyzed, is a big step
another is that get some extra help if what you are resistant about is feeling demotivated in not understanding a concept and getting stuck. Find a study group, study in school so maybe you can consult your teacher if you are unclear
