Personality according to all port is enduring characteristics pattern of individual behaviour over a period of time. Or the long lasting behaviour of the person that span in d range of 3 or 5 years above...
I am going to write on 3 determinants of personality that is:
- Biological
- Environment
- Social
- Biological determinant of personality: it is a of genetic inheritance of the parent to their offspring.
A person personality is a product of the genes inherited from the parent because when a male and a female counterpart meets in a socially approved(marriage).
Sexual interaction the other transfer their sex cells whereas the man has XY while the woman has XX each of this sex cells have some genotype that will be transfered to a child in it mother's womb and it is expected the child have the genes of the two parents ...
For instance..when a man or woman has a genotype of AA and the other has AS it is expected that their child is AA and AS.
When an AS marries As it z expected they have AA AS and SS so that why it's adviced that we should check our genotype before marriage SS or sickle cell to prevent premature death..
Based on which therefore it is expected that a child will inherit the characteristic of either of the two parent.
- Environmental: The environment a person stays in away or the other.. This is the because scientifically am environment plays a significance role in the behaviour of an individual.
This is because where one grow up in an environment that is orderly social among others . he is expected to be a good individual than the other than the other who grow up in the ghetto where lawlessness have an impact in their life..
For instance Mr A lives in an estate while Mr b lives in the ghetto ...it's 95% sure that people expect Mr A to be of good character because he lives in a conducive environment while Mr B will probably be a thug because he stays in a place of lawlessness
In this way a person personality is a product of the environment he lives in..
*Social class determinant: The social class an individual belong to determines his/her personality..In all society there are 3 classes:
- Upper class: The upper class are the rich the wealthy ones.
- Middle class: They are not rich or poor they are comfortable. They can also be regarded as the privilege
- Lower class: are the poor ones. They are regarded as the under privilege.
Similar attributes is expected that the class a person belongs to determines his attribute or characteristic he belong to.
For instance the wealthy often are proud, while the poor are usually humble.
Religious belief: the sect of a religion a person belong to determines or influences his personality..
Most humans are worshippers of a God they are expected to always respect .The norms of the religion as well as those of the society ..The two major religion of the world have different sect and some of this sect ..
For instance a deeper life Christian hardly believe in social life they don't wear ear rings,some don't watch TV just like the Al Sunnah of Islam.. This two are extreme in belief and can be seen anti social and this can affect the social relationship between and among members ..
