Accepting responsibilities is also a measure of a person's maturity level. There is really a line between passing a responsibility to another person to lessen your burden as a leader/team member or DELEGATING responsibilities to help a teammate grow.
Human nature is really designed to develop or provide blame when a mishap occurs in their life. If that can be diminished, it would really help the person succeed. Owning up to ones mistakes is hard, but it would be worth it.
I know I am a person that takes responsibilities. It is my role and designation. I was raised to be responsible not just to myself but also to others.
