Whenever something bad happens in our life, we say, It must be our Karma. At the same time when something good happens in our life we say it's God's grace.
Doesn't this happen most of the time?
Well not everyone may have the same thinking, but at large I have seen this behavior of people, for tough times, bad times, wrong things happening, it's instantly the karma that comes into picture. The karma is blamed whenever anything is not going well. Be it at individual level or collectively. Just for instance in this pandemic I have heard end number of people making this statement. This is our Karma of doing wrong things coming back to us and people are turning to God for help and they think that by praying to God, with his mercy this problem will be resolved.
When we are going through a merry time in life, when good things are happening, when progress is happening in life, again here our reaction is with God's grace all of this is happening.
So my point is why this discrepancy. When you blame yourself for the bad phase why don't you give credit to your own self in the good phase of life. Why does one not say. It is my good karma coming back to me.
I am not a anti religious or anti God person. I have my respect and faith towards God in my own ways , but my ideology is little different. Good or Bad, Right or Wrong, everything stays in my own bucket. I do not want to behave like a beggar, that for everything I turn to God, asking favors. And I do not even think our Creator needs that. Our Creator knows what's in our best interest and orchestrates accordingly.
This is not a topic of debate from my side but something that I always wonder on people's behavior. And also not that everyone behaves in this manner, but yes in my observation at large people behave in this manner.
