As i said in one of my previous post mindfulness or being present in the current situation helps to get the best out of everything. In a normal man mind will wander around different thoughts at a time. Without savouring the simple stuffs in life tgat gives you great peace you may listen to those monkey chattering of mind. These chattering simply adds up stress in you and mind is not any more centred .
This wandering thoughts are resembled to monkey chattering since they have no particular direction to travel through ,just like nomadic . But if we want to stay in peace contented state we should never give ear to those monkey chattering.
Mindfulness is again the answer to stop this wandering and thus live with immense pleasure in heart.
And the next technique is inspired from Robin Sharma a great author of many self helping books and the technique is called Focused reading. The moment ehen your mind deviate from the page tgat you are reading into any other thought , mark a checkmark on the right side of the page. This technique increases your awareness and will concentrate more into the reading.This is a technique that helps you build a calm and peaceful mind.
