Last month, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds unveiled the new "Miramar" map to much fanfare, promising players a new desert-themed murder playground to contrast with the vaguely Eastern European Erangel. A few months later and the thing just doesn't seem all that popular: there's a lack of item balance that can cause you real trouble if you drop in the wrong parts of the map, it has long stretches of desert with no cover and all in all the gameplay felt different enough that players would quit and reload in order to go back to the original Erangel. It's not a great scene.
