PUBG Lite launched in India after the initial launch in other South Asian countries. Now, reports suggest that PUBG Lite has a dedicated Indian server. With a dedicated server, Indian gamers can now play with low pings and almost negligible lag. While PUBG Lite is already available in Taiwan, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh, a dedicated Indian server will prioritize the gameplay experience of Indians.

PUBG Lite kicked off with a pre-registration on its website and an event that offered special rewards for participants. The event ended on July 3 and pre-registration lasted until last month.
The game received an open beta update that introduced a host of new items and a new game mode. The new beta update came with a new game mode named Team Death Match, which is quite similar to the one in PUBG Mobile. And, the new mode also introduced a new map that was already present in PUBG Mobile for the Team Death Match game mode. In this mode, two teams of 4 players battle it out in a warehouse to be the first to reach 30 eliminations.
The open beta update also introduces a new season along with the Lite Pass. Gamers can now complete various in-game challenges to earn special rewards. Also, players can purchase the Lite Pass: Premium and Lite Pass: Premium Plus to unlock more rewards and missions.
The open beta update also introduced new Collector’s Crates and Special Crates that can be purchased with the brand-new in-game currency named L-Coin.
Many of these new items as well the new 4v4 Team Death Match game mode could be introduced in the official update soon. The official update will also bring a host of performance improvements and bug fixes.
