It's been 247 days since I joined Steemit. Just two days ago, my reputation finally hit 63.
I only started to be really active in Steem towards the end of November 2019. At that time, I was heavily engaged in Musing. The payout was great.
Musing is a dapp where you get to ask or answer questions. Then musing checks your answer for quality.
One answer that I wrote, I earnt 5.90 USD. My reputation rose quickly from 40 to 61. One day, it seems that the upvotes slowed down. I went to Musing's discord and saw this message.

I guess everyone who was actively participating here felt really sad. This was the platform I used to earn Steem everyday from November to December 2018. Somewhere in the first week of January, there wasn't any more upvotes.
My reputation somehow stalled there at 61 for a while. I was figuring out what to do next. All these while, my upvotes came from Musing. I was dependant on Musing.
Many other Steemians were sad over this.
I thought, I needed to restrategize. The next day post-musing, I just started to write post. It's been 3 months and finally I have crossed the 63 reputation point.
10K upvotes later.
One of the ways, I am earning Steem is to delegate my Steem Power through Minnowbooster and Steem basic income. The daily payout isn't big yet but it adds up with idle steem that would have done nothing.

Steemit is an extension of my life. It's like playing a video game in some ways. I have cashed out steem to pay for petrol, groceries and etc.

Anyways, I have been approved by Publish0x on their platform as an author. It was introduced to me by Niel96
It's where authors and readers meet up and get paid in Bounty0x which I believe can be converted to Ethers. It's a new platform just for writing. You can link it to your Etheruem wallet.
When you just join, you are not immediately granted the author status yet and need to apply for authorship. Just use your steemit blog link as the reference (I think they need proof of work). I got mine approved in around less than a day. I haven't don't any work on it. Will start pretty soon. Will write more about this site once I test it out. I have registered myself. It's great where the blockchains are headed towards.
