Aceh - Pungli saber team performs OTT PNS at National Land Agency (BPN) of Lhokseumawe City. The woman initials SU (56) was arrested for extortion in the management of Right of Building (HGB). OTT is conducted at the local BPN office and the saber team secures Rp 20 million.
Lhokseumawe Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Hendri Budiman said the arrest started from the public information of alleged illegal levies in the agency. Then the team investigates by disguising as citizens who want to take care of HGB. The team led by AKP Reskrim Budi Nasuha Waruwu immediately conducted OTT against SU this afternoon.
The officer then ransacked the SU room as well as one of the Section Heads (Kasi) at the BPN. Officers succeeded in confiscating cash as much as Rp 20 million that allegedly result of illegal pungli.
After netted OTT, the woman together with the evidence directly carried off by the saber pungli team to Mapolres Lhokseumawe.
"We are still examining whether the suspect fulfills the element of illegal levies or includes extortion," Hendri Budiman told reporters on Friday (23/2/2018).
In addition to cash, officers also secure evidence in between, 3 pieces of certificate, a photocopy of notary deed, and other requirements to complete the HGB requirement.
