There are two families claiming to have the highest combined aged in a town. For example, a family with two 20 year olds in it has a combined age of 40.
Family A has 2 grandmothers and grandfarthers, each being 4 years older than the next. The grandparents have 6 children between them. Each of the children being born exactly two years apart. These children then have 2 children each, with every one born 3 years apart from one another. The youngest member recently turned 2. There is no age gap between the oldest grandchild and the grandparents youngest child. The youngest grandparent is half the age of the oldest grandchild older than the oldest parent.
Family B has two great grandparents with a combined age of 174. They have 2 children each with an average age half that of there parents average age. These grandparents then have 3 children each with an average age 1/3 of that of their grandparents average age. These parents have 2 children each at an avenge age of half of theirs. Only half of these children have children themselves with an average age of 5.
Only direct descendants count as part of this puzzle so no need to try to include the partners of the family members. What family has the highest combined age?
I have mixed it up a bit and there is a prize of 0.015 STEEM for the winner and one 0.005 STEEM prize for a good explanation that might or might not go to the winner. The winner is the first correct answer however you must explain yourself. I hope I haven't overdone it . My apologies if the words are a bit confusing, couldn't think of a a less confusing way to write it.
