For more than a year, an anonymous person referred as Q has been posting clues, disclosed some "secrets" in coded language. Since then, there have been thousands of sealed indictments, which cumulatively added up to over 60000 since fall 2017 (source: https://pacer.gov), most of which occur in California. Posts from Q first appeared on 4chan, but he later on moved to 8chan, a reason for that is that you can use VPN on 8chan, not 4chan (they don't allow VPN users). Human trafficking events spiked in mid-2018 and hundreds of resignations from CEOs and other high profile people have taken place since fall 2017.
