What was formerly a bastion of traditional values, based on the doctrine of protestant Christianity with a particularly English flavour is now no more.

Why is it necessary to have transgendered priests? What does it add to the body of the church? What is the purpose?

I would argue that it adds nothing. They were already very welcome inside the organisation. Instead, forcing such a change accelerates the decline of an already dying church and pushes more cultural Marxist propaganda as the church ceases to be itself and instead become a postmodern shell of what it was.
