Over the past couple weeks with the price increase of SBD, I have noticed a lot of people pushing out as many posts as they can in a day. There is nothing wrong with that and I would like to get posts out every day but for myself, I would rather put out something I work long and hard on than just a "filler" post. You know, just posting something quick and easy to fill up your blog for the day.
Quantity
As I said earlier, there is nothing wrong with putting out as much post as you can in a day. In fact, that can have its own benefits such as more exposure. More often readers come across your posts, the more chances your posts will get voted on, resteemed, and gain followers.
At the same time, there's a good chance some may consider making so many posts in a day is spamming the blockchain or just trying to be greedy and get as many rewards as you can. It can also be difficult to get larger rewards if you are putting out so many posts. A large supporter could have difficulty keeping up voting on so many posts so instead of getting a higher vote percentage, you are most likely to end up with smaller rewards for your posts. However, it can add up.
Having quantity doesn't necessarily mean there isn't any quality. Generally, some consider a person that puts out so many posts in a day is not really putting in the time and effort in creating a blog post. It is difficult for some to just get one or two posts done in a day.
Quality
Most would consider having quality over quantity but it can be both subjective and objective. One may think what they are reading and viewing is quality content but to others, it may not be. Many would say the writing of an article or post would have a large part when considering something to be quality content. The format, spelling, grammar, etc.
Even if one were to take the time to writing something considered quality, there's a chance it may be overlooked. IMO, a quality post is one that provides helpful information to others and can be used as a reference in the future. Months and years later, the information can be looked back on to help somebody that is searching for information and to learn from it. Many of us tend to read things that are worth our time, relevant, useful, unique, moving, noteworthy, and well thought out.
In my experience, taking the time to work on quality pays off more than quantity. There was a time I would put out quantity and would earn rewards that would add up. Then I decided to focus on quality and found I was earning more rewards. I would put out one post every couple days and those ended up earning me more than I did putting out multiple posts every day. This doesn't mean everyone will get the same results if they were to do this but there a good chance you will.
Quality posts tend to have more engagement and that is something very valuable to have when creating content. Interaction with others and feedback is a reward of itself.
Conclusion
Whichever you choose to do is up to you. I'm just sharing my observations and opinion and for me and I'm sure many others on this platform would agree, quality pays off in the long run.
