About a year ago I added another hobby to my list ,,,,quilting! At first I only used the sewing machine to mend clothes. When i decided to get serious about quilting i jumped in head first. I didn't start small, I felt I was up for the challenge of making a queen size blanket. The task was daunting and half way through, i thought maybe i bit off more than i could chew haha. I buckled down and did not quit no matter how frustrating it was. I enjoyed the challenge and i loved the sense of accomplishment. Quilting fit my creative side and I'm so happy I gave it a chance :) The quilt in the photo is my 3rd and latest project. Now i also make pillowcases, table runners, curtains etc. I tried making fleece socks this winter.... that was super frustrating. I say 'tried' because it was a mess. The pattern, material and the so called socks are neatly packed away lol. Maybe this winter 😛
