So HF20 is now live and its even crazier than expected. Not only did the whole mana RC thing add a lot of confusion and difficulty to the way we interface with Steem but almost everyone lost all voting power...
Obviously there are a lot of angry complaints about this and thats no surprise. Most likely there is no one that is happy about that. However even though its impossible, especially in times like these its important to be objective and constructive.
No code is ever perfect and even if it were because of personal opinion/preference not everyone is going to agree anyways.
In truth that is what is so cool about a decentralized community. Its not perfect and we don't all agree yet we find a way to give and receive value. To participate in the things that are important to us and improve what we are best capable of.
So yes there are some problems with this new HF, but that has to be expected and even though it may be worse than many thought all in all we should be better off in the long run because of this fork.
So anyone who has problems, concerns or most importantly constructive criticism then share it. Make a post about it, comment on the many other posts about it or better yet DO SOMETHING about it!
Yes Steemit Inc and the witnesses need to carry the main burden of responsibility and yes there could have been more testing done but thats also something we as a community can do....
There is always something everyone of us can do to improve the situation.
Most importantly we all as part of this community need to work together for the improvement and well being of this world we know as Steem. We will get a lot more done and have a much better time if we work together despite disagreements then by arguing or complaining.
Its time we all step it up and do our part to take this to the moon together!
