Being nice is easier than being bad!
When we are nice and kind to people, which we should be all the time, depending on who, where, etc. that kindness can be mistaken for weakness or lack of intelligence in an area. Sometimes being nice is simply about being nice. PERIOD. When lowlife examples of people get a glimpse of the nice demeanor as something to take advantage of, often times they will attempt to. This bad behavior comes from a place of greed, envy, lust or jealousy.
We can overcome these bad guys by just doing what we’re doing and keeping it business as usual. Being nice to folks can be rewarding for all involved, with improved moods, attitudes and increased happiness. The dangers that come from being too nice doesn’t really affect someone that is genuinely being kind to others. They will rise above the bullshit without even realizing it.
The way to deal with dangers of people trying to take advantage of you or your niceness is to just say ‘NO’ to them. Don’t give in to their requests and their demands if it derails you from your journey. That way if they are only around for the good times and the high tides, they will scurry away just as rats and cockroaches do when the lights get flicked on, especially if they were truly disingenuous from the get go.
