The most powerful line or quote i picked up from what i considered as my favorite movie this year, well so far, M3GAN 2.0 is that everyone deserves a second chance.

It was said by Cady, the little girl who has seen alot of trauma in he hands of M3GAN the AI robot in part 1. After all that trauma she believed the robot deserved a chance to prove that it could be better than it was.
I anticipated the movie before it arrived in theatres but i never saw tis coming, that the villain robot would actually play the good guy in the next one.
It is a simple quote but for me, an emotionally powerful moment. There is plenty of action and comedic robot action in the movie, but this line brings it with heart.
Cady's Mom had serious trust issues with the robot and wanted to eliminate M3GAN permanently. She held on to the bitterness she had developed for th robot in part 1 and if not for those words from Cady, she wouldn't have given M3GAN a chance at all, and well from the movie's perspective, the world would have ended. In the very end, M3GAN th robot proved Cady was right.
When M3GAN was given a second chance of redemption she proved herself and proved that Cady was right.
We can make mistakes in our past but give anyone a chance to do right and chances are they won't disappoint. As long as they seek to change i believe they really do deserve a second chance. Since you're subject t mistakes we also shouldn't be hard on ourselves. We shouldn't remain terrible though, we can learn, we can do better and we can try again.
M3GAN in the movie is not only a robot, she is a portrayal of human feelings and cady realized that and that's why she feels that M3GAN should be given a second chance.
For me, it's a story of being merciful because that robot really messed up in part 1 and they still saw her as a hero in part 2
