Little did I knew than my visit to this gorgeous beach would fit perfectly in this week's ´s Photoquest: Golden Hour!
This was probably my first time here. Praia da Falésia (roughly translating to "Cliff´s beach"), is a huge beach in southern Portugal; almost 6km of sand, with a coloured cliff in it's back. I ended up not going for a swim there... but got there in time to enjoy the view!
I'm not exactly a fan of heights, and although it's amazing to see the beach down below, some of the paths I don't dare to walk!
The cliff has beautiful tones, from whitish to red, and I bet the view from the sand is also great. I had to settle with the view from here; the main ideia was to see the beach and admire the sunset from the higher points. And... mission acomplished!
Seagulls were flying pretty near, and even with the sun setting I had to try and get them on camera, without much success.
But with this view, the warm weather, and being on vacations in good company... I really can't complain, can I? 😉
