Now there's a funny theme for this week's 's Photo Quest. I would say simplicity can be kind of an abstract theme; a simple thing for me might not present that way to another beholder. Nevertheless, it's good to have themes that are not so straight forward! And my version of simplicity is...
Scattered small rocks in an almost deserted beach, one of my favourite photos taken two summers back, in a beautiful island called Porto Santo.
I could choose a few more photos from those vacations. A flower with a view was actually my first pick.
Simple and beautiful! And speaking of beautiful, Madeira islands have a subspecies of european chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs maderensis) that has amazing colours. And they are not that shy, so chances are if you visit the islands and do one of the many nature trails, you'll end up seeing one; there's no way to confuse them with any other species.
And for some more simplicity, why not finish with a cow... that simply occupies the whole trail? 😁
Hope you all had a a great Christmas. Stay safe everyone!
