Rabindranath went to England to study Barrister in 1878. At first he was admitted to a public school in Brighton. In 1879, University College began studying lawology in London. But he could not finish the study by attracting literary studies. While in England, Rabindranath was introduced with the composition of Shakespeare and other English literary writers. During this time, he read with special attention to Ralijio Medchi, Coriolanus and Anthony and Cleopatra. At this time, Rabindranath sent a letter to Bharati about his experience in England. In this newspaper, these writings were published in the book titled 'Yurop-Prabasir Patra' in 1881. In 1881, these texts were published in newspapers with the criticism of the eldest brother, Dwijendranath Tagore,. This was Rabindranath's first prose book written in the first language.He eventually returned home without taking any degree in England in 1880 and without beginning to read the barrister.
