Here is some history lesson for you. Thank Marie Curie for radiation treatment for cancer. She concluded radioactivity kills cancer. yes, she said so and nobody questioned that. Karma is a bitch. Marie Curie died of aplastic anemia from too much exposure to X-rays.
As a side note, it's her we thank for such wide use of X-ray imagery, cancer-causing imagery. Thermography would have served us so much better.
And yet, they still do this to this day.
