I have been talking about my trip to Peru. I had already visited a few countries in every corner of the world but I have to admit, my country, Portugal, never disappoints.
I recommend you to visit it. Lisbon is our capital, the most visited city. Oporto located in north of Portugal is the second one. Is considered the “Capital of North of Portugal”. There are a lot of people that doesn’t like this tittle but the truth is: Oporto have an important role in dinamize this region that is so special.
By other hand I understand why they don’t like to put Oporto in the centre. North of Portugal has a lot of Natural Secrets that everyone should know that is out of Oporto.
For this reason, I have to share with you what I experienced yesterday in Gerês. Gerês is a national natural park with a lot of biodiversity and activities to do. I was done a walking rail called “Fenda da Calcedonia” in a small village called “Covide” (a familiar name right? Ahah). The trail is in a part of the Serra do Gerês with large granitic blocks. It is a 7km course and we pass right in the middle of a crack in the rocks. Is an incredible adventure! The award is the amazing views breath taking. The pictures talks for themselves.
