I GOT MY VOTE SLIDER! - Celebrating My 8th Week on Steemit!

Oh happy Day! I want to thank everyone who helped make my 8th week here on Steemit super awesome. I have continued to connect with new and long-time members of the Steemit community and make contributions back to others whenever I can.

It's funny, so many people have goals of a certain number of followers, or number of posts they want to get to. Me? My goal was having control over my voting power, since that is one of the more important aspects of the Steemit platform. Well I'm happy to announce I FINALLY GOT MY VOTE SLIDER yesterday!

This past week I have continued to enter many challenges and contests across multiple disciplines. I am entered in the latest Whaleshares nsfw Fine Art photography contest hosted by Hive account@nspart, BeyondBit Bounties Steemit Chronicles Character Character contest hosted by Hive account@anritco, the Nanomancer Creative Writing Competition hosted by Hive account@benjojo, a logo contest for Steemit's Got talent, and my weekly audio editing work for Hive account@officialfuzzy's weekly Bitshares and Whaletank Hangouts.

We are also still waiting (patiently) for the results of the Whaleshares Hero #3 Art Contest hosted by Hive account@stargarden I entered sometime in the late 90's, or at least it feels that way. :-P

UPDATE: The contest was just judged - I won 2nd place with my drawing and nomination of Hive account@merej99.

I also continue to post updates on my Home Gardening with Hydroponics blog to share my hydroponics systems and teach how I grow food at home with everyone here on Steemit. Up Next: I will be posting new images from my latest underwater photoshoot, continuing to work with and support community efforts by the Whaleshares team, and entering photography and art contests as they come up. The future is looking bright indeed.
