Never a Dull Moment! - Celebrating My 6th Week on Steemit!

This week had its ups and downs, with a few "real-world" inconveniences that got in the way of some things I wanted to accomplish here on Steemit, but as always - I powered through. Thank you to everyone who helped make my 6th week here on Steemit incredible once again. I have continued to connect with new and long-time members of the Steemit community and make contributions back to others whenever I can, it's the Steemit way.

I only entered into three contests this past week, a "Bokeh" photography contest hosted by Hive account@jamtaylor, a Beyondbit logo contest for Hive account@officialfuzzy, and Hive account@stargarden's Whaleshares Hero 3 Art contest. I decided not to enter the NSFW photo contest since my recent photo shoot did not match up with the current contest theme. For the results, I did not place in the Bokeh photo contest, but I did get an honorable mention placement in the logo contest for helping another entrant's design get to first place. I am still waiting on the results of the Hero 3 art contest.

I put some time this week into my own twist on the daily ColorChallenge, creating a daily ColorCollage of items from around the house that went along with the color of the day. It was a fun project that really put a spotlight on the colors that surround us in everyday life.

*In my continuing efforts to contribute to the Steemit community I donated to the prize pool for Hive account@tonyr's Learn to Draw with Friends "Doctor Who" themed contest and volunteered to be the guest judge. That was an amazing and difficult challenge in itself, as there were so many incredible entries to decide on.

On deck for this week, I have submitted an entry for Hive account@officialfuzzy's Whaletank Hangout Intro/Outro, and will try to get a second submission in tomorrow for the BitShares Hangout. I am working on my drawing contest entry for this week, and will enter other photography contests as they come up. I completed new underwater and boudoir photo shoots this past week and got a lot of beautiful pictures I will share with everyone in the coming weeks. I also have a few new hydroponic gardening posts coming this week over on my Hive account@steempowergarden account.
