I made a video to wish everyone a wonderful new year! This year had its ups and down for me. I am ready to leave the downs in the past.

I also wanted to share two new badges I received from @HiveBuzz just a few weeks ago.

The first one is for getting the most upvotes on a post in a day. I am still in shock that I received this badge.

To top it off, I received the Badge for the most upvoted post at the start of the following week. I was floored!

I remember looking at those badges when I started on the Blockchain, and I knew I would never receive either of those, and I was okay with that. There were plenty of badges I could work toward getting with time and effort, so I never thought about those badges again.

Five years later, after posting the story I am most proud of, I received a badge I never thought possible to get. Miracles do happen. Hard work does pay off. Slow and steady does, sometimes, win.

To everyone that has supported me through the years, I thank you for making this woman's dreams come true tenfold!!

May we all have a noneventful year to come!!
