Monday, yay! And we are in the last week of the first month of the year, whew! As to where the last three weeks went, I don't know, so please don't ask me, lol!
Joke aside, January is going quite well, thankfully. People in DD continue to go about their daily lives as we do. Working. Working. Working. We do play, of course, especially Yongi and me. We have had plenty of lazy days, but we are not complaining.☺️
The plan to go home to the other town was postponed for a week, until the weather improves. We expect it to be much colder there since it's at a higher altitude than where we are now, so we are in a wait mode for the time being.
And a wee chismis... The boy next door came back a few days ago with his girlfriend, a chatty fella from the other side of the mountain. On our first meeting, she grumbled about the chilly weather, saying it wasn't this cold where she came from.
Maybe her boyfriend had forgotten to warn her about it, and that she needed thicker sets of clothing. We observed she often wears summer outfits—thin, flowery leggings, and such. Good thing he lent her his jacket. I would have been happy to give her some of mine, but she's big. Anyway, they were provided with decent quarters so they won't freeze at night, hehe!
Meanwhile, the crypto market seems to be in haywire these days, with Bitcoin breaching below $90k and most tokens and coins in the red.
