Yes, here in Japan everything has to be colorful, loud and excited. It seems to me as if being quiet would be pushed more an more to the edge.
That's why notice and prohibition signs have to come across in a flashy design, and the message is best conveyed by some cute characters. Sometimes you get the impression that the people here don't take each other for full or serious anymore, that's why the dogs speak here and the turtles wear uniforms.
But look yourself, for today I will spare us all that judgement what is swirling and spinning around in my head.

Ja hier in Japan muss am besten alles bunt, laut und aufgeregt sein. Ruhig und sachlich gibt es zwar auch, aber es kommt mir vor als würde das immer wieder an den Rand gedrängt werden.
Deshalb müssen auch Hinweisschilder und Verbotszeichen am besten in knalliger Aufmachung rüberkommen, und die Botschaft wird am besten von irgendwelchen niedlichen Charakteren vermittelt. Manchmal hat man den Eindruck, dass sich die Menschen hier gegenseitig nicht mehr für voll oder ernst nehmen, deshalb sprechen hier auch die Hunde und die Schildkröten tragen Uniform.
Aber seht selbst, ich erspare uns heute einfach mal all das was ich darüber noch so denke.

Even advertising billboards and signs in front of the many shops always have to digress into the cute and ridiculous. But there'll be more about that next time.
Auch Werbeschilder und Zeichen vor den vielen Läden müssen immer irgenwie ins niedliche und lächerliche abschweifen. Aber darüber gibt es beim nächsten Mal mehr.
