Traversing the highway on a stormy day, I decided to take random shots, and while doing so, I noticed the reflections (more like shadows) of trees and such on the wet road. They kind of took my worries away, as I was no longer focused on thinking about the dangers of such unfavorable weather. Instead, I was having fun and expecting to see more images ahead.
I have taken plenty, but sharing only the decent ones.
An hour or so later, this building caught my eye as we approached a curve somewhere in Bontoc. The raindrops on the truck's windshield added a nice touch to the scene.
And just when I wasn't expecting something, this cool doodle came into sight, reminding me of the song "My Old Yellow Car" by Dan Seals, and I couldn't help but hum it aloud at that same moment, lol!
Going a little further, the empty wet street displayed some reflections too, mostly of the streetlights' poles, especially those of the solar-power ones. Click!
This wasn't our first time taking the route, but the hubby reminded me of this tunnel while we were about a hundred yards from it. And what a timing that a car was coming, which made the scene more real.
Meanwhile, we noticed something new in this spot. Aside from the "I ❤️ Happy Sabangan" signage, nothing else was in that area when we passed by last year. The structures (Cafe) are newly built, which is nice, providing travelers with one more reason to stop over. The aroma of brewing coffee couldn't escape one's nostrils for sure!
Like me, some people might immediately notice the animal sculptures on the stonewall. And others, like my Yongi, may first see the barber and his customer. I honestly did not see them initially, but my LilGuy kept barking, which made me take a second look and find them.
And there ends my little collection of random shots on that stormy day last month. Thank you for coming along. Next time again!😅
