I'm waiting for gas fees to drop because the ethereum mainnet is retarded, ERC20 tokens are stupid, and block producers are greedy bozos.
I mean yeah, nobody is going to run a blockchain for free but, who the fuck in their 5 senses still builds shit on top of the ethereum blockchain considering that sneezing is worth 20 bucks there, and if you happen to sneeze at the wrong time you have to sell a kidney, seriously, who?
Especially considering we are not in 2017 anymore and you have like 18 other blockchains that do the exact same thing as the ethereum crapchain but without the mentally handicapped fees.
I found a website that says that eth fees are at their lowest at 2 am EST, and since I'm in Mexico atm, that means I have to wait until 2 am local time to try my luck. The fucked up part is that I don't have any ETH on my metamask wallet, which means I have to send some ETH from binance to MM, but that transaction will cost me the same as swapping my Matic tokens from the ethereum mainnet to the polygon network, which pretty much means I will have to pay twice the fees just to cover for a mistake that my freaking mexican exchange made.
Alright alright, it wasn't their mistake, it was mine, but who the hell would've thought that since this crappy Mexiexchange doesn't give the user the option to pick the network your transfer will use, one would assume that it would use the native network of the token you are sending, ie, if you are transferring ETH the default network would be the eth crapnet, and if you are sending TRON, the default chain would be BSC, and if you are sending MATIC, the default chain would be Polygon, right?
Well, according to the mexiexchange I am retarded, and I should also go fuck myself since I'm already in feetown.
I am tired as fuck but there's no way in hell I am paying 50-60 bucks in fees just because I'm retarded and I couldn't be bothered to find a way to confirm that I sent my matic using the polygon network. And to think I did it that way instead of my usual way of LitecoinOnBitso-to-Binance-tradeForMatic-to-MetaMaskOnPolygonChain and I did MaticOnBitso-to-MetaMask to save some time and now I am stuck since two days ago trying to find a way to unretard myself.
Turns out I can't mentally unretard myself and I have to use my post rewards - because obvioiusly I don't have any more spare crypto to gift it on fees, all of my crypto is staked somewhere, perhaps I even have some dickCoin staked in your mom and I don't even remember - to buy some Hive, send it to binance, buy some eth, wait until the gas fees are low, send that to Metamask with a fee, just so I can bridge my matic from the eth mainnet to the polygon network (you guessed right, with a fee).
So then I thought well, I might as well write a post while I wait.
Well, fuck me. Turns out I write rants pretty fast, and it's only been 6 minutes, meaning that it's only 00:14 instead of 1 am, I haven't even gotten the post rewards I am waiting for to pay some eth block producer bozo's fees.
Wanna hear the best part? I only have around 33 HBD to buy Hive, and I am hoping that both transactions cost less than that otherwise I will end up with 15 bucks worth of ETH stuck on my metamask and will still have insufficient funds to bridge my matic.
