Where Have All The Good Times Gone?
I am on lunch break right now, my teaching job is a PITA. My daughter is lucky I like her... () < this much! LOL
Fair warning to all: this is my 5 minute rant post. If you think can handle it then proceed. It is much better for me to just sit here, and type to get it out of my system.
I was mentally time traveling back to 1978 a few minutes ago, listening to Van Halen's debut album, and thought about how the song below would be great subject matter for a post. Diver Down is not the best of albums, it is what it is. Their debut album is much better, and is cemented in Rock & Metal History. Hit that play button, and journey on. ;-)
As much as I would not like to admit it, the same old shit day after day is getting old. I know that I am not alone, the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket. The psychos are running the asylum that's for damned sure.
My battery is running low, and my threshold for bullshit has been breached, for a long time now.. so thank goodness for COFFEE!! Could you imagine a day without a dose, or two or three of caffeine? That would be torture. :|
That's my alter ego, digesting today's news err... disinformation and propaganda. It's now day number 641 since two weeks to flatten the M#$#$%$%&N Curve!! GOOD TIMES...

Everyday it's something new, the goalposts are always shifting, almost never in the favor of everyday ordinary people. I remember the day when this mess started in Pennsylvania, and thought to myself... here we go, it's all downhill from here! Keep your hands and feet inside the car, and do try to enjoy the ride... you crash test dummy. I am sick and tired of all the Covid, Vaccine and Totalitarian crap that is provided to us by the tyrants running the show.I don't remember signing up for this... do you? I guess I didn't get that memo.
As I stated above, my Daughter is lucky I like her. :D All kidding aside though... I do my best to make sure that she is getting all the education indoctrination she can handle with homeschooling, adding a dose of common sense along the way. I will not even contemplate sending to her a regular school anymore. Not Gonna Happen!
Hopefully she will be able to tolerate the future that is coming to her generation, and the next generations to come. If we make it that far that is.
Sorry kids... I apologize for all the hardships that you will have to endure. If I had my way, we wouldn't be in the mess. All I can do is what's best for my Daughter, teaching her to use her brain, and to not fall for all the BS the world provides. To all you authoritarians out there... I will not bow down to you people, you think that my child belongs to the state, and you can do what you like. Ummm... NO!
God help the poor souls that think it wise to venture here, and mess with my child. I got something for ya. ;-)
Whoooooppppsss... Sorry for the delay, had to play IT tech for afternoon classes. I love my job(s)! Principal, Guidance Counselor, IT Tech & Cafeteria Worker.
Phewww... I need a raise! And a proper vacation too... just sayin. To think that I still pay taxes for this crap, GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. :|
If you haven't guessed by now... I like to express myself with music, and my current mood is:
There's just so much god damned weight on my shoulders... All I'm trying to do is live my mother fucking life! Supposed to be happy but I am only getting colder, wear a smile on my face... but there's a demon inside. I just wanna be Jekyll, but I'm always fighting Hyde.
Damn I miss the good old days! Going out with friends, going to see a concert... just having fun. I miss the music of the 60's and 70's the most, they don't make tunes like that anymore. Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Early AC/DC, Foghat, Boston and etc. If you've ever seen the movie Dazed and Confused, that was my life... minus the beatings. Life was much simpler... no internet, no cell phones, no social media and no lockdowns.
I also miss the leather outfits(mini skirts), high heels and big hair that the ladies wore back in the day too. Enough to make a man go cray cray lolz. And let us not forget sneaking into the clubs and being underage with no ID. :D I can hear you now... GASP!

Speaking of good times... can we all just time travel back to the 70's and 80's please? Pretty please... with a shot of Jack Daniels on top?

I would also like to point out that our friends in Australia, Germany, Austria, Canada, South Africa, Venezuela, Switzerland and etc., they have it worse than we do in the US. Stand strong my friends and hold the line.
