Hey Derrick,
First, I think you do exceptional investigative journalism and reporting on topics that are all too often ignored or purposefully omitted from mainstream publications. From your Epstein documentary, to the Finders cult, to your work on 5G and now on the COVID19 and the Great Reset and so much more. I especially appreciate your evidence based approach and also presenting solutions (ex: Freedom Cells) to some of our most pressing issues. You, Ryan and Whitney at TLAV have been doing critical and amazing work in the last few years. Thank you for all you do!
Second, it's unfortunate and frustrating that some in the Hive community do not see the benefit of your work. Particularly, since the reporting of has been targeted and censored on YouTube for all kinds of false justifications.
I think too many are quick to judge and label people who ask uncomfortable questions about our reality and the direction society is heading. It's not as simple as 'right wing nut-job Trump supporters are anti-science and anti-vaccine'. There are valid points to be made and since corporate controlled media refuses to do any real journalism it's critical we have voices that do.
Currently, the technique is to characterize dissenters as lunatics and dangerous 'others' instead of doing your own research and coming to your own conclusions. (For clarity, there are extremists out there, who probably believe all kinds of things.) But to lump everyone together as anti-this and anti-that is simply lazy, careless and at times just plain ignorant.
The problem with downvoting is that it becomes personal no matter how judiciously those with power and influence believe they're behaving. I don't think I've ever seen a single comment from (or from the projects main curators and delegators) explaining the reasoning for the downvotes.
The main purpose of is to provide 10% ROI for those that delegate (lend) to the curation project and to find deserving content and support the authors. Their website also states that the delegated stake is to be used to fight "spam" and "abuse". I don't see your reporting as spam or abuse in any form. I imagine that those doing the downvoting are not actually reading your content and that the downvotes are because of some sort of prejudgement.
So let's put the questions to the top investors:
What is your issue with content?
What is the criteria that determines a downvote from ?
Why does Hive seem to chase away so many content creators when the platform is struggling to attract new users?
Just to end on a personal note, I really value your work Derrick and hope that you do continue to post on Hive despite the downvotes. Thank you for sharing your insights with us. Happy New Year brother, stay strong!
