One of my favorite emcees of all time, Killah Priest, just launched a great concept album, a throwback to the block party days of the 80s in new york with also that old new york sound. This sounds so funky and dirty yet with smart lyrics and such. The artwork is right there to that time.
You feel in a local dance hall in the middle of the hood on this one. Nothing playalistic or luxorious but all the opposite.
However, the bars are there and the skill shine on the stellar production of 4th Disciple and Killah Priest. With cameos from the Cuban Lynx brothers, Rae, Ghost and Cappa.
Definetly a collectable classic piece of hiphop.
